Location: Marina, Lagos
Salary Range: 210,000net

Responsibilities
•

Gathering information from clients, assessing their insurance needs and risk profile;

Sourcing for rate, terms and conditions from insurance companies

Building and maintaining ongoing relationships with clients including scheduling and attending meetings and understanding the nature of clients’ businesses or lives;

Researching insurance companies' policies and negotiating with underwriters to find the most suitable insurance for clients at the best price;

Advising clients on risk management procedures;

Placement of new business and renewal of existing policies;

Advising clients whether and when they need to make a claim on their policies;

General claims processing – Liaising with the insured and insurers for effective claims administration 

Developing relationships with underwriters, loss adjusters, marine superintendent etc

Preparation of monthly report for NAICOM and others that may be necessary

Monitoring the changes in the insurance market and in the clients' industries;
